![]() When I import drone imagery (just aerial jpgs, not an ortho), I like to use the quiver plot to display the view direction. Once your features are using the correct "feature type", and assuming that feature type is styled the way that you want in the configure->styles settings, then you just need to make sure that your layer is set to use the default styles based on feature type. ![]() If you do have one that exists, but you don't like the style, change the style in Tools->Configure->Styles. If you don't have a feature type that exists, create a new one and set your style. Then right click in the map window, edit, and change the feature type to control valves (Or power poles, in your case). In this case, I right clicked on my layer and selected "Select all features", which selects all of my control valves in the map window. I'd just recommend going with option A so that this is quick in the future. You can set the type for all features in a layer from the layer menu. You can manually set the symbol/text style for each individual features.Ĭ. You can create a FEATURE TYPE with styling and then change your features to that type and use that style.ī. You have a few different ways to change the style of your features.Ī. I can't help you on #1 since that's not normally part of my workflow, but #2 is pretty straight forward. I imported a kmz file that has our numbering and placement of the utility pole being surveyed, is there a way to increase the font size of the number that was given and the dot of the pole placement? when working in satellite view with the drone images camera icon surrounding the pole, the pole placement and number is hard to see and I need to unclick the satellite map to see the utility pole. I click on the camera icon and nothing happens, I have to go to the list of images on the left side of the screen, find the number(image) highlight it, right click on that image to see that specific picture, when I do that it opens all the images highlighting the image i clicked on, Is there a way to just click on the camera icon image on the map and have the image open up?Ģ. There is a function in the standard processing tools that can import the geotagged photos and its possible to style the points that come in with an arrow with the correct rotation. I have been playing with adding a calculated field but no luck. I was able in import some drone images, I can see them on my map by a little camera icon and the number related to the image. KML supports variable icon rotation using a tag inside . kml, via client request, it loads fine in Google Earth and shows all the points, but when I click on a point I see the file name and not the image.I am having some difficulties and have tried to watch some of the YouTube videos but they are not focused to my present needs and was wondering if I could get some help.ġ.
